Welcome to DAILY LIGHT. Some twenty-one years ago, about the year 1988, I was invited to participate in a Teaching Conference in the city of Lagos - Nigeria, which addressed the subject of Spiritual Warfare. My topic was, “dealing with the powers of darkness.” I recall that day very vividly because a monumental change took place in my life.

As I sat there with my teaching notes waiting to deliver my talk, the Spirit of the LORD as it were tapped me on the shoulder and asked me a pointed question: “Son,” He began, “If you walked into a room that was in complete darkness, what should be your reaction?” My answer was very prompt: “I would find the switch and put on the light.” “That is Your sermon,”

He whispered to me and my understanding of spiritual warfare changed from that day and so did my experience of victories through Christ. Our Lord Jesus is the Light that invaded every area of darkness in the world and flooded them with incandescent light.

Today, He bids us fill our lives with His Light, so we too can invade and cause every area of darkness in our world to disappear. When our lives fill up with His Light, then no darkness can resist us in the world (John 1:4 & 9).
